iFly Indoor Skydiving opened in its new location next to WonderWorks on I-Drive on May 3. The facility is equipped with two all-glass wind tunnels in an open single-story floor plan that allows I-Drive passersby to see tourists in action. It replaced the original location further north on I-Drive.

WaltDisney World Resortwill debut a new limited-time concert event at Hollywood Studios on May 26. "TheMusic of Pixar LIVE! A Symphony of Characters" will showcase memorable musicfrom Pixar Animation Studios films, with appearances by beloved Disney•Pixarcharacters. A live orchestra provides the soundtrack for this 40-minute concertthat will be presented three times nightly at Theater of the Stars. The showalso will include appearances by Woody, Jessie, Mike and Sulley, theIncredibles and more.

Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels have launched a "Spring into Summer" sale, with hotel rates starting from just $79 per room, per night. All seven properties are located within convenient walking distance of Disney Springs. The "Spring into Summer" hotel rates are valid for stays from now through July 31, 2017. Guests staying at these hotels enjoy free shuttle service to all four Walt Disney World theme parks, as well as two area water parks and nighttime transportation to Disney Springs. They'll also receive a complimentary Disney Springs Passport booklet with special offers.

Gatorland officially broke ground for a $2.5 million park expansion, the largest since opening in 1949. The brand-new Gator Joe's Adventure Outpost and Stompin' Gator Off-Road Adventure are slated to open fall 2017.

Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park is bringing "Frozen" Summer Games starting May 26. And for the first time, guests will be able to meet and take photos with Kristoff and Olaf. Following the success of the inaugural "Frozen" Summer Games last year, guests visiting Blizzard Beach can once again join Team Kristoff or Team Olaf to participate in a variety of activities, from Ice Pail Relays and a Snowball Toss to Ski Pole Limbo and Slide Races.

The Mennello Museum of American Art announced two new exhibitions - OUR ORLANDO and AMERICAN YOUTH: OUR IDENTITY - featuring local Orlando artists. Both exhibitions will be on view at the museum from May 19 to June 18.

Walt Disney World is set to debut its new evening fireworks and castle projection show "Happily Ever After" at Magic Kingdom on May 12. Part of the new show will be a series of new animation sequences that will be mapped to the Cinderella Castle façade starring characters from Disney films. The show replaces "Wishes" after its more-than-13-year run.
