Gatorland has extended thepopular half-off single day admission ticket for Florida residents through May31, 2017. Adults pay $13.50 instead of $27, children ages 3 - 12 pay $9.50instead of $19 and Seniors 55+ pay $10.80 rather than $21.59. Proof of Floridaresidency for adults is required.

La Nouba by Cirque du Soleil andthe Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort are partnering to offergroups of 12 or more a special entertainment and dining package.  Pricesrange from $105 - $125 per person with category 2 tickets to a performance ofLa Nouba, accompanied by a three-course meal at Italian eatery Il Mulino NewYork Trattoria, celebrity chef restaurant Todd English's bluezoo or Shula'sSteak House. Parties of 50 or more must reserve at least 30 days in advance.

LEGOLAND Beach Retreat,the all-new accommodations at LEGOLAND Florida Resort, is now open. Thehighly-themed village-style vacation resort features 83 brightly coloredbungalows grouped into 13 horseshoe-shaped "coves" named after popular LEGOMinifigures, for a total of 166 separate rooms. Each room sleeps up to five,including a cozy area just for kids with a bunk bed, trundle bed and privacycurtain. Each cove also has its own outdoor play area within view of thebungalows' shaded patios. A pool, onsite dining options and more are alsoavailable at the resort.

Portobello Country Italian Trattoria inDisney Springs will close April 24 as the restaurant undergoes a refurbishment.The restaurant will be transformed with a new Italian concept in partnershipwith James Beard Award-winning Chef Tony Mantuano. The restaurant will reopenin early fall 2017.

The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphinannounced official dates for the 2017 Food & Wine Classic, returningOctober 27 - 28 for the event's eighth year. The celebration will featureexciting new dishes and wine pairings. Guests can book overnight packages andpurchase tickets online.

Transportation

Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) and Surinam Airwaysannounce the start of scheduled nonstop service from Queen Beatrix InternationalAirport (AUA) in Aruba to Orlando. The flight pre-clears U.S. Customs &Immigration in Aruba, and will arrive into SFB as a 'domestic' flight. Theservice operates weekly, year-round with a Monday afternoon arrival into SFB at4:30 p.m. and a Tuesday afternoon departure from SFB at 4 p.m.

The Florida Mallrevealed details on The Play Park, the newest interactive children's attractionthat is slated to open spring 2017. The Play Park will feature more than 3,000square feet of multi-sensory play, with three distinct zones tailored tospecific age groups. The new attraction will be located within the CrayolaExperience and Dick's Sporting Goods wing.

SeaWorldOrlando's Seven Seas Food Festival hasbeen so successful, that the event is now offered daily through April 16. Internationalstreet food traditions including Caribbean, Mediterranean, Brazilian andPolynesian flavors will continue to entice guests throughout the park, completewith a wide array of craft beer, wine and specialty cocktails.
